  I go to open up a checking account with Wells Fargo even though it was against my better judgment my girlfriend told me how great this bank was so I decided to put aside my own beliefsabout banking and open up an account we went through the steps to open up the account and everything was going nicely until It came time to deposit the check. Now I was expecting there to be a hold normally there always is. But they told me it was going to be an entire week YES A WEEK. They told me they could take the hold off and make it so I could atleast access some of my funds being it was a holiday weekend and we had plans so I said ok, turns out they couldn't make any funds available at all whatsoever. I told them it was fine and I would go cash the check at one of the cash points which I had done every single time in the past no problem. Expect there was a problem, they had already wrote all over it scanned it and put stickers on it and no check cashing place I went to would take it. And by this time the bank was closed I returned on Tuesday (due to Monday being a holiday) to deposit it seeing as I was at the mercy of the bank and somehow the week long hold mysteriously reappeared, and this time there was nothing they could do. Now here I am rents due, cables due, phones due, and I have no money. Thank you Wells Fargo for possibly ruining my life and relationships with my landlord and service providers. Once I funds hit I well be withdrawing and closing my account. I would not recommend anyone go to this bank. I just want to add that the ladies at the bank are all good people though.
